Exercise 1: Glo White Design analysis

Part 3: Proposed redesign.

The 'Glo White' logo has been enlarged.
The 'Super Whitener' text has been moved into the dark area and capitalised.
The iconography below the logo has been altered to grow in size from left to right.
The UV Sun logo will either be removed or reduced in size.
The phrase ' Contains 5...' has been moved to the top of the box, making space at the bottom.

The dark blue areas have been moved to the top-left and bottom-right.
The 'Glow White' logo has been removed, to make space for the other elements.
The 'Glo Care' and ACDECO logos have been moved into the dark blue top left corner.
The directions box is emphasised, by bringing it to the top.
The sun protector information box is put along side the text, to show a stronger correlation between the two.
The phrase 'For the whitest whites - every wash' separates the directions from the UV information.

Both boxes have been rotated by 90°. This should make the text easier to read when the box is held upright.
The UPV warning box has been rotated so that the lines are not so long and difficult to read.
The sun icon has been moved to the corner to create more space.

The contents box has been moved to the top for emphasis, and this along with the logos have been rotated by 90°.
This is to ensure the box looks better when held upright.
The 'Super Whitener' text has been skewed to echo the 'Glo White' logo
The small print has been moved to the dark blue area at the bottom of this side.

The Multi-Pack icon has been enlarged so that it is partially obscured, but still readable. This is emphasise the icon.
The 'Glo White' logo has been reduced in size, and the 'Super Whitener' text enlarged to emphasise this text more.

'Glo White' logo enlarged, and 'Super Whitener' text skewed to make these elements more cohesive.
The barcode has been reduced in size.
The 'Glo Care' logo has been reduced in size and positioned to the right.
